He became famous for his idealized female figures that were often based on Parisian movie stars and celebrities, and his work included his years of studying, drawing and painting the actress and movie icon, Sarah Bernhardt. He used the color blue as with the goal of illuminating the skies, giving wings and surrounding with waves of water. The piece is offered in gold and chrome finishes. The body material is a mixture of Mucha blues and a highly polished finish.
