Additional information:

  • To celebrate its centenary, Namiki has created these original Yukari fountain pens. Each model is made using Maki-e and pays homage to one of the 7 Gods of Fortune, the most popular ones in Japan. Daikokuten is an example of Ryobu Buddhism, reconciling indigenous Japanese traditions with Chinese Buddhism. The body is adorned with the God sitting on a bundle of rice, holding the magical mallet that grants wishes. On the cap, a mouse appears, symbolizing numerous descendants.
